After a 34-year break, Claire found her way back to art during the pandemic, using creativity as a source of comfort and a way to support her mental health while working for a local authority, taking a moment to pause, breathe and reconnect with our natural surroundings. 

 

As a contemporary abstract landscape artist, Claire Foale draws inspiration from the beauty of her surroundings. Having transitioned from the coastal charm of Dorset to the lush landscapes of North Yorkshire, her work reflects the dynamic colours and ever-changing light of nature. 

 

Her paintings, are in different sizes with many ranging from 50cm x 50cm to larger formats, and are designed to enhance any interior, infusing it with the spirit of the natural world.​
